Dear colleagues:

I am pleased to announce that I have invited Professors Zrinka Stahuljak (Comparative Literature, European Languages and Transcultural Studies) and Giulia Sissa (Political Science, Classics) to head the Experimental Critical Theory program for the next three years, through the end of 2023–2024. They have presented a compelling vision for the role of the program within the Department of Comparative Literature and within the division, and I very much look forward to watching and participating as ECT begins its next phase.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank and congratulate the architect and leading light of ECT in its inauguration and first phase, Professor Kenneth Reinhard, who cheers Professors Stahuljak and Sissa on, and plans to continue to take part in ECT activities. May this venue for theoretical thought long thrive.

Best,

David Schaberg 史嘉柏 (he/his)
