Rebecca Ogden Smith is a doctoral candidate in Comparative Literature studying early modern texts in Spanish and Nahuatl. Rebecca works closely with UCLA’s Diversifying the Classics to translate, produce, and promote Hispanic classical theater. Her project focuses on issues of translation and representation in Nahuatl religious drama from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
