Professor and Chair David MacFadyen has been selected as one of six recipients for the 2018 Distinguished Teaching Award for Senate Faculty. The Academic Senate Committee on Teaching further recognized his contributions to the advancement of knowledge at UCLA by bestowing on him the Eby Award for the Art of Teaching.
Distinguished Teaching Award recipients are selected based on their impact on students’ experience and success, scholarly approach to teaching, and dedication to diversity. More information about the Distinguished Teaching Award is available on the Academic Senate website.
