Amelia Ino is a PhD student in the Department of Comparative Literature at UCLA. Her primary research interests are in Memory Studies, minority American literatures, Latin American literatures, and the intersections between public education and literary studies. She also works at UCLA’s Graduate Writing Center as a writing consultant, and has completed a Certificate in Writing Pedagogy. In addition to her academic work, Amelia is a volunteer writer for the Japanese American National Museum’s online publication Discover Nikkei.
